Talking to customer services felt like trying to present an argument to a wall, it was very clear that they had no intention at all of listening or of being accommodating, even though their app was at fault. Not only that, but when I tried to get a quote from them as a new customer, it was refused. As soon as their help centre opened the next day, I contacted them, but even though from what the woman said it other people have had this problem too with the app, they would not allow me to use the offer anymore. I had a busy day and thought this was just a bug in the app that might resolve, so I decided to try again the next day, a Sunday, but again the app didn't work properly and I realised that their help centre is closed on Sundays. This happened the day before the last day of my renewal window. I even got a second person to have a look at it for me, in case I was missing something. You are supposed to be able to renew through the app, but it didn't work.
The insurance was fine, but I had problems with renewal and customer service did not help.
