Continue forward until you reach Restful Waters. Read through the tutorial, then begin your way down the path to your left to make your way toward Trigoth. As soon as you get moving, another tutorial will begin, this time explaining affinity and trust between you and your blade. From here, you’ll be in Outlook Knoll, where the path opens up. You’ll be introduced to the Gormott Province. Keep moving forward until you trigger another cutscene. Continue down this path, killing any enemies in your way. For now, move past it and continue up the tree in front of you.Īfter you climb the last tree, clear out the enemies in your area, then turn to your left to find another fallen tree. This chest requires Pyra’s Lockpicking skill, which she doesn’t yet have. You’ll see a tutorial about this specific chest, explaining what Blade skills are necessary to open certain chests. Climb up them as well to find a chest on your right. Follow that path to find a tree covered in vines to climb. You’ll see a path leading upward, with glowing plants on either side of it. Your next objective is to make your way into town with Nia. Once the Brog is dead, you’ll trigger another cutscene and Nia will join your party. Hit ZL to trigger her special, thus creating a Blade Combo, Steam Bomb.Īfter you’ve pulled this off, continue attacking the Wormeater Brog until you defeat it.
Once you do that, Nia will reach special level 2. Follow the tutorial, then use your special to trigger a Blade Combo.
#Gramps xenoblade drivers
This fight serves as a tutorial about utilizing multiple drivers and blades in the same party. If you’ve been fighting the enemies you encountered up to this point, you should have killed a few of these already. You’ll find Nia trapped in a fight against a Wormeater Brog. Continue forward a short distance to trigger a cutscene. Use Pyra’s Field Skill to burn the downed tree blocking your path, then continue onward to Old Ghostwood Road. Once you reach the bridge, you’ll receive a short tutorial on Field Skills. Read the short tutorial about collection points, grab your loots and continue on your way forward until you reach Trailblazers’ Bridge. Along your way you’ll learn about Collection Points, which are represented by a shovel icon. As before, follow the curves of the landscape to find her. With gramps now riding along in your helmet, it’s time to find Nia. Gramps will occasionally help you in battle, but isn’t a traditional party member in that you can’t remove him. Once you get close enough, a cutscene will play and Gramps will join your party. Use your lure ability to take them on one at a time and you’ll have no problem.įollow your compass and defeat any enemies you encounter along the way.

Read through the tutorial, and upgrade any skills you might need to, then begin you search. Before that, you’ll get a brief tutorial about upgrading Rex’s skills. Once you regain control of Rex, you’ll need to start searching for Gramps.
